Threshold
There's an interesting moment when two things meet. They can either compete or find a way to coexist.
I've always been fascinated by the relationships between shapes. Not just the shapes themselves, but what happens along their edges.
In Threshold, broad arcs, a white circle, striped details, and strong fields of red, yellow, blue, and green occupy their own territories.
Black lines establish boundaries. But those boundaries also connect everything.
I find that contradiction interesting.
As I continue developing my geometric abstractions, I'm discovering that the spaces between shapes can be just as important as the shapes themselves.
Threshold explores that delicate balance between separation and connection. Every element has its own identity, yet none of them can exist in quite the same way without the others.
Perhaps that's why I called it Threshold. It feels like something is about to happen.
